Water Sampling Measurement

This album has photos from the second trip to Udall Elementary School. In this trip we discussed the measurement process and had the students create hypothesis's about which sample they thought would be the dirtiest. We then weighed the samples and filtered them out. We also discussed Skype and worked with the school's robotics team.

Winfield City Lake Field Trip

The Udall 5th grade class and teacher Linda Giddens recently went on a field trip to the Winfield City Lake, during the trip they learned about various conservation practices. After this they took water samples from various spots around the lake with fellow Dan Bigham. The also took sensor readings at these sites and will compare the physical samples with the sensors readings to help understand how sensors work. After this Dan gave a presentation introducing himself and explaining the basics of sensors and sensor technology.
